Video Tutorial, How to do a

chinese snake knot?

Since we launched our new Cosmic & Free Spirit Collection last Monday, one of the most asked questions has been the following:

“I love the mexican skull bracelet, but…how can I make that knot?” or “what material did you use for the knot?”

Video Tutorial, How to do a chinese snake knot?

That’s why I wondered…, how can I teach you how to make the snake knot? And the answer was clear enough

With a VIDEO TUTORIAL!

I told my workbuddy and we both started work. Camera and thread in hand we started recording.

Fort he bracelet we used braided nylon of 0.8 mm in strawberry color, however for the tutorial we have used blue satin cord of 2mm.

Why did we change of thread? We changed it just in case you are not very skilled yet making knots, it will be much easier for you to  make it with a thicker cord.

But if you dare to use the thinner one of 0.8mm, I just want to warn you, you’ll need the help of a punch or a burin.

This kind of thin thread tends to bend when we are making the knot and by using the punch you will avoid this to happen.

Ok, let’s get started. Here you go, the video tutorial that will teach you how to make bracelets and chokers with chinese snake nots.

Did you like it? I hope so, and I hope you’ll be usingt it in your future creations.

I don’t know if you feel the same, but to me it looks quite pretty and flashy and you can use it  in beautifil creations for Mother’s day or Communions.

You’ll just need to pick up the color and the thread you prefer (braided nylon, satin, cord…) and start practicing.

Ah! I nearly forgot to remind you that our shops will remain closed during 1st and 2nd Mai due to some national holidays.

Greets!
