I think this is the day we’ve all been waiting for, the time for a fresh start.
A year ago at this time, we all wished for a New Year that without a doubt surprised us. 😅
We’ve been obligated to adapt to new rhythms, infinite work days of smart working, and we’ve had to leave behind the true essence of work. It’s true, because for us, work isn’t just work. It’s being together, creating together, and smiling together.
We had to close our store, split into two shifts and take extreme caution so that nobody, neither us nor you, was put in danger.
We have to acknowledge that in the beginning, we didn’t really know how we were going to deal with the changes and we didn’t know when we’d be together again, joining forces to be the real team we know we are.
It was a challenge to learn to work distanced from each other, which included Zoom meetings to discuss good and bad news, never ending phone calls, Whatsapp groups to be in contact 24/7. In about 15 days, we learned how to work remotely and we began to really appreciate the value in taking 15 minutes to rest and talk to a freind about what we’d do when we were finally allowed out or we’d keep taking bets on when we’d go back to normal life.
Still, as bad as 2020 has been, we’ve smiled through it. We have to be realize that in such a chaotic world, we’ve had to stop and get back some sense of humanity. As Fito y los Fitipaldis says, “what’s urgent isn’t always important”.
This has been a year full of challenges but also growth for us, not only on a personal level but also a company level. We’ve kept going passionately, we’ve started new projects, which we’ve finally had time to begin thanks to this pause.
There was a moment where it was very difficult, where we didn’t have motivation to keep going, where we wanted to give up. However, we kept putting new pieces out without even knowing if anyone wanted to see new pieces. Soon, we started a search to add to our services and make sure you didn’t have to stop either. The most important thing is that we could all keep fighting, which is something our team knows something about. We just want you to know that this war is won battle by battle 😉
We also want to apologize for all the times we’ve made mistakes. Working in two independant teams is not easy, even if we write everything down, sometimes we forget something.
Most of all, we want to say THANK YOU, for being there, for helping us keep going, for getting motivated after seeing one of our publications, for not giving up, for all the times you have been grateful for our services and our ideas, for being you, for being strong, for smiling, for pushing even when you didn’t feel like it, and for sitcking with us throughout these past months.
💗 THANK YOU VERY MUCH 💗
Thank you for your nice words and understanding.
AND NOW…
No matter where you are in the world and whoever you’re spending your last day with, we want to wish you…
Happy New Year. We wish you happiness and everything you desire.
