Very important dates and days in the lives of our little ones are approaching, that’s why we wanted to launch these new sterling silver communion pendants to always remember that beautiful day.
I’m sure you still remember how nervous you were on the day of your communion, as well as the days leading up to it, so many preparations. Rehearsals, dress and costume fittings, walking around the house with your shoes on… Everything ready so that on that day everything would go perfectly.
Every 21st May I remember the nerves and excitement of that day, but I have to admit that I also remember the huge storm before the mass 🤦🏻 My school didn’t have a church and that day we celebrated mass in the church of the opposite school. It was only 500 metres from the door of my school to the door of the church and they had to drive us to the door, like Hollywood stars, so that we didn’t get there under water.
I also remember and keep the typical little medal with the face of the Virgin Mary and an inscription on the back that my grandmother gave me, and the silver bracelet that my aunt gave me and the cross of Caravaca that my grandmother gave me. I have many silver communion pendants saved since then. At the beginning, I admit that I didn’t understand why everyone gave me those presents when I just wanted some skates. Over the years I love that my mother has kept them all for me, because they are little charms or souvenirs that you will always carry with you.
