Sterling silver short necklace with an elegant touch

by admin

I’m quite happy today to bring you an idea for a short necklace in sterling silver with an elegant touch. The thing is that sometimes, muses take their time to appear, or even inspiration seems to put up a fight, but when they finally come, awesome things like this one come with them, things that drive me crazy 😍

And as muses have taken the time to visit…how can I let this opportunity go? Besides, it’s been a while since I did a step by step tutorial, so I take this chance to tell you everything 😉

Let me tell you the materials I have used:

  • Two thick rings of 5 mm in sterling silver (Ref: 7462/1)
  • Disc connector of 30 mm in sterling silver (Ref: 2921/2)
  • 9 mm pendant with jump ring to stick a chaton stone in sterling silver (Ref: 7481)
  • Two MC chatón Rose Viva 12 Preciosa  stones in 7 mm. Capri Blue(Ref: PRE34/03)
  • 120 cm approximately of grey gord in de 1,5 mm (Ref: 4827/34)

1. Start off by sticking the MC Chatón Rose Viva 12 Preciosa Capri Blue cristals on each side of the 9 mm pendant.

Just with this step we will get to add a touch of color to our pièce. This will be the distinctive slant of our necklace.

2. Take the grey cord and pass it through the jump ring of the 9mm pendant, trying to place it as near the middle of the cord lengh as possible 🙂

3. Bend the cord in a half, and placing both ends of the cord toguether, introduce the thick rings in 5 mm.

4. Separate a bit both parts of the cord and place the disc ring connector. To attach it, make a slipknot right on the upper side of the ring connector.

Finally, make another slipknot to adjust the lenght and let it as long as you like. I personally do like it short!

I hope you liked this idea of a short necklace with an elegant touch in sterling silver and that muses visit you quite often.
